Adirondack Roots is my homage to the great storyteller singer-songwriters from this region of upstate New York.  Listen to Adirondack Roots on CD Baby.

I grew up in the Champlain Valley of the Adirondacks listening to – and playing – any kind of music that came my way: bluegrass, classical, rock, pop and jazz. My parents and music teachers encouraged performance at an early age and I was classically schooled in percussion, music theory and history. The small (former) mining town where I lived as a kid and the contrasting beauty of the surrounding mountains helped shape me in ways that I feel come through on this record - both lyrically and musically.
